The Process
Duplication is the process of copying files from an existing CD or DVD directly to the same type of media, referred to as CD-Rs or DVD-Rs. This provides the fastest approach to duplicating CDs and DVDs since no films, glass masters or stampers need to be made.
As the CDs/DVDs are being duplicated and tested, graphics are printed directly to the face of the disc, thus eliminating “stick-on” labels. Using the highest resolution inkjet technology available, we print beautiful photos and graphics, as well as crisp text. The CDs/DVDs are now complete, and the final product is inserted into its packaging for distribution.
Here’s our process:
Step 1: You provide us with label and packaging design files (prepared in our templates); or, we can design them for you. We check the files and prepare them for production.
Step 2: Printed proofs of the label (and packaging) are sent to you for approval electronically or as hard copy. – This is an optional step
Step 3: You provide us with the master CD or DVD you wish to be duplicated.Or;
Step 3a: Your files can be delivered to us via e-mail, ftp, or our easy-to-use upload feature. We then make a master CD or DVD for you – Additional charge
Step 4: Production begins – CDs/DVDs are duplicated and tested while they are simultaneously printed.
Step 5: Finished CDs/DVDs are inserted into their packages and readied for distribution
Step 6: Final product is delivered!
